It makes no sense that they would go with HD-DVD. Incidentially, the Pittsburgh-Post gazette columnist that first ran this story later edited his online column to omit all mention of this deal and the supposed payouts. If it somehow makes you feel better, believe whatever you want. The fact is that WB execs hinted at BD exclusivity all the way back in October.
