This pics shows the supports behind the wall, which were measured by first putting the panel on the bracket, screwing it to the wall prior to cutting the hole in the wall. The distance from the back of the panel surround to the wall was the distance the supports needed to be fixed at. Basic stuff really. I have allowed enough room around the hole to size up to a 55" or 60" panel if I win the lotto.
