Today I ordered some dvd audio titles, why exactly I am not sure, but the couple ones I have lying around do sound great to awesome. So, I did some searching to see whatz out there and got a quic edumecation.
There is not a whole lot and really I dont see a lot of new titles. So I got some oldish titles from singers/groups I like. Like everything else it pays to shop around but at amazon I got
Bonnie Raitt ~ Nick of time.
Up ~ Shania Twain (liken that t shirt)
Black n white ~ Roy Orbison
Love ~ the Beatles
Running on Empty ~ Jackson Browne
all for about $85USD.
At half . com I got Rumours, Fleetwood Mac for $35.... which was I think $95 from Amazon.
Will report back with reviews whenst listened to.

As does Deep Purple's 'Machine Head. All of these are great albums from start to finish with much better sound than the original CD releases.
Harvest features a very stoned mid-20's Neil in a field discussing how he made the album (in his barn) and you can hear the album playing away in the background of the PA in on his ranch while he's talking. very entertaining stuff. the surround effects are very good on this album, it really does sound like it's being played in a large barn.

Doors 'LA Woman' another good one. Riders On The Storm sounds fabulous in 24/96 surround sound.

to find them..
I don't recall seeing any of them in DVD-A.
Some of the out of production titles are unobtanium or very pricey.
Too bad because, for a classic album I don't think $15 is a bad number at all.
Are DVD-A discs still being made?

Trouble with Dual Disc is they don't play in every player because of the thickness of the disc apparently.

They are called Dual Disc, but essentially it's the same thing.
