1. My house came with an electric Da-Lite screen that the previous owner installed. When I run my hand across it, it feels a little sticky (insert masturbation joke here). It is an overall consistency to the material that I thought might be from going years without being cleaned. But when I went to wash it with warm water and a little dish soap it resulted in some streaking. I hesitate to really scrub the thing if there is some kind of special home theater kryptonite coating that I am wiping off and thus ruining the screen. Any thoughts?
2. If I have indeed fuxored the screen up by washing it, then I was thinking of just using some home theater paint on the wall behind the screen (see my setup pic below). Any thoughts on this paint and if it is a decent alternative to a Da-lite screen.
thanks in advance for your input, masturbation jokes and overall patience with a home theater n00b.
