Wiring behind wall and outlet installed behind the TV.
Bought the new media storage center the other night and got it put together.
So much cleaner than before:

Hey there. I know it seems everyone is picking on you. But that's a big part of a forum for home theater buffs. You can always count on constructisism;) Trust ME. I learned a LOT from these guys, by posting pics!!!!
My thought for you would be this: mount the surge protector(s) into the rear of your media cabinet. even up top behind the door area. this way the power wires can run out the back of the shelves and directly into the surge. you may have to run a small extension cord to reach it (with the power supply). And also another cord going back out -> to the sub. But it could possibly add to your theme "cleaner than before"...
In the event you can't run the extension behind the wall, you may want to find an extension cord that matches the color of your floor or wall.
I agree: "Less is more" in my book!
Best of luck.

is showing on the ground? The right one is not in use, need to put it away.
I do have a surge protector that is behind the media center hidden.
Once I remove that surge protector on the left (solely for fish tank), there will be no wires showing. The only thing is there is no outlet by the fish tank and the closest one is behind the media center.

1. match the tone of the L and R speakers as best as possible so that the transitions aren't jarring.
2. assuming #1 is accomplished, shoot for the most dynamic range possible.
so
What model are these? If they make a matching center, that should be your first choice. If not, can you get another individual speaker of the same model as your L and R ones?
