Fired up the DVR today and took a look at some! Very nice. And some of the channels listed twice have gone MPEG4 instead of MPEG2. The woman won't be pleased as there is no HGTV on this rollout.

Now I have pages of HDTV channels to page thru, that I don't have checked in "Custom Favorites", that I don't subscribe to, but which are still listed in the "filtered" guide.

This always was a PITA with a few premium channels, but it just got much worse.

not that I really watch those channels, just wondering. Saw How it's Made on DiscoveryHD this morning and I like that show a lot more now.

There's nothing worse than having access to the most HD channels. You should tear down your antenna and go back to cable TV, where they cater to your needs.

not suprisingly it doesn't see the new channels. Time to replace it with another HR20. Too bad, I really liked this unit and I'll never get to see the "enhancements" they've been advertising for next year.

Just about everything I've ever watched on the History Channel was shot before 1946.

5-10 years ago, the History channel was filled with old war footage. Now they have lots of new stuff.
