my friend has a VL-37 (retails for $4K)
he can buy it for $1500...

he says they are better than anything on the market.. but i am skeptical..

do you guys know anythign about this brand.. i could not find any reviews..

some of the models are the same between both lines, others are quite seperate. Both were sold by Sam Runco to Planar just a few weeks ago. Vidikron and Runco are some of the best sets out there now. I have used that 37 many times and love it. Its has one of the best internal scalers and de-interlacers in the market. My 2cents.
