I normally skip on anything refurbished. But considering that Denon techs looked it over and made repairs (if any) on their receivers, I figured that this may be the exception.

My five year old cheapy Sony receiver isn't working so great lately and I'd rather not repair it. I like the 4306 since it has 3 HDMI inputs. Should I pull the trigger on a refurbished unit or stick to brand new only? TIA.

EDIT: I've decided to consider pre-ordering the Denon 3808CI since it's a HDMI 1.3a compatibility (4 in, 1 out).

Earlier this a.m., I pre-ordered the 3808ci from J&R and will ship out next month. Now, we play the waiting game. *looks at clock*
