Getting new system and I'm having trouble picking between plasma and LCD. This is for my basement, mainly watching standard def and high def TV and movies.

I've had experience with smaller LCDs and none with plasmas. I am a little concerned with the plasmas for some reason, nothing in particular just hesitant.

Anyone shed some light. Yes I have read all of the comparrisons between the two technologies.
