I was reading about a Sony Bravia V-Series tv on Circuit City.com and someone mentioned that the format of the tv isn't the best for the xbox 360.
Here is what he said:
"Another con to the tvit does not support 1900x1080 through vga or component input. Vga resolution on the tv only goes up to 1400x1050 but I could not get that to work, only 1360x768 which puts it in the range of 720p. So, if you plan on using your computer through the vga portthen you might want to try an dvi to hdmi connector. (don't have the cable to test it out tho)
I also find this a con because now, through the xbox360 dashboard update, it supports 1080p through vga and component cable. So, with this tv I cannotusethat resolution because 1080p is only used in HDMI. (note I believe the samsung suports component 1080p.)"
Can anyone clarify this for me? I'm planning on purchasing a LCD tv 40-47" soon and also planning on purchasing a xbox 360 to play and also use the HD-DVD. Any suggestions on brands that work best or does it not matter?
Thanks!!!
