Running a new drop across the attic to the other side of the living room. It is RG6 that I'm after, correct? I imagine as with any cable, there's a spectrum of pricing based on "quality" -- the question is, in this case (~30-40ft cable run), will the difference really be noticeable? FWIW, I've got Comcast with an HD box.
Thanks

Andy

I'd be willing to get rid of it for probably the cost of shipping. It is definitely RG-6, with a white outer jacket. I'll try to see how much I have in case you are interested. I bought it at Home Depot.

If you're in a hurry, then you'll probably want to pass.

$15 for one, $40 for the other. Thanks for the confirmation.

This will have to wait until next week. I didn't check the spool last night and I'm leaving town for the weekend. If you're ready to lay cable, then don't wait on me.

I looked online at Home Depot and it looks like the smallest spool they sell now is 500 ft. (I bought mine 5-6 years ago.) I don't remember buying that much, but if I did, then I definitely have over half of that left.

Thanks, I took care of this weekend. Found it the Depot for 20 cents a foot. Appreciate the offer though.

A 50' run should run you about $20 at Home Depot.
