animal balls you can think of. My remote has been out of commission for like 3 weeks now.

I had the charger problem that is common. They sent me a new charger base via 2nd day air no questions asked.

I think I was on hold for about 10 minutes or so which I have come to expect with all the outsourcing of tech support in the industry. When I finally talked to someone, they asked me for serial numbers to verify and then explained to me that they would be giving me a replacement charger base and that someone would call me within the next few days to confirm. 2 days later someone called to get my mailing info and the package was sent.

Do you have the same charger problem because after I got the new I was able to fix my old one. It's very easy.

The problem with my remote is it stopped controlling my devices. I've tried everything they suggested and it still doesn't work.

I've never had an issue with the charger.

If you're having this problem, I found that on mine it was because the terminals on the charger would recess back into the base too far to touch the contacts on the remote. I took my charger apart and say that if you put a small (non-metal) object under those contacts, it will raise the contacts higher out of the base allowing it to touch the contact on the remote.

Taking the base apart is easy. If you peel off the rubber feet under the base you'll see screws that hold it together. Once you remove those screws there just a few areas where the two plastic pieces that make up the base snap together. Just pull them apart. I used a small piece of rubber weather striping to raise the contacts on mine.
