I'm looking for a track system where I can adjust the shelves. HD/Lowes has these with cheesy wire mesh shelves unless I'm looking in the wrong places. I'd like a wood shelf that I can refinish or a simple glass shelf.
No internet ideas please...I'm looking to have something installed in a day or two. Thanks for any ideas.

Very sturdy. Mine is black with the Cherry front edge, but you can get the entire shelf in wood for additional cost of course.
Hey, I have an '01 Z3 2.5 also!<ul><li><a href="http://www.salamanderdesigns.com/archetype/index.htm">Salamander</a></li></ul>

<a href="http://www.salamanderdesigns.com/syn/index.jsp" target="_blank">Synergy line though</a>.
Fully adjustable shelves, you can dump a door and sides on it or leave it open. I have mine wide open for cooling (HK AVR7300 and a 360 tend to make for a lot of heat).
Sorry I don't have a picture of mine, I keep meaning to snap one.

I just think it's a bit too expensive for what you get

and have a piece that can be configured any number of different ways.
Plus the slots on the posts make for nice cable management. :D

It's a sunken family room with one side that steps up to the Living room and one side that steps up to the Kitchen area. Just to the left of that window is the fireplace/hearth and to the left of the fireplace is another window. To the right of the plasma is a double-wide window.
As you can see the corner articulated mount is the best solution. It's great so I can swing the plasma when I need to see it from the kitchen table.
Also by using a vertical audio rack the cables that dangle from the monitor fall right behind the rack so they are well hidden from sight.
BTW..it was the wife that encouraged the plasma purchase. I was going to go 42in and she says...go for the 50!
The challenge right now is keeping the 20 mo old toddler from pressing all the buttons. At least he can't smudge the screen yet.

... the fact that you have to assemble it, considering the price.
I think the system is terrific though, and the design allows for a variety of configurations.
