At first glance I dismissed these players as a gimick but after hours of AVS Forum searches... seems like they could offer a 'real' benefit until HD-DVD arrives. Worse case my current DVD collection may look better on HD display than the standard 480p?

Found one player that may not have the best support but has incredible features especially for those PC based home theaters?

Any opinions?<ul><li><a href="https://www.atacom.com/program/print_html_new.cgi?cart_id=3670654_129_176_197_15&amp; Pagecode=SEARCH_ALL&amp;Item_code=DVDX_MOMI_16_02&amp;USER _ID=www">https://www.atacom.com/program/print_html_new.cgi?cart_id=3670654_129_176_197_15&

Very happy with V Inc. D1, which upconverts to 720p, that matches native resolution on my projector. Signal stays digital through entire chain, and the projector is not forced to do an interpolation, picture looks great.
