View Full Version : Confused - Dell 42" plasma says its HD, but lists resolution as 1024x768 ATH 12-19-2004, 06:50 PM Last time I checked, that wasn't HD? HD is 1980x1024, right? MattK 12-19-2004, 07:10 PM aren't quite the same but, short version, yes it's HD or ED capable (I'm not sure as you didn't list the model) and would run at 720p as closest to native. ATH 12-19-2004, 07:34 PM MattK 12-20-2004, 05:54 AM I just looked the DELL plasma is really an HDTV but thery also have an EDTV version which I'd pass on. Reggie 12-20-2004, 09:29 AM models have excellent black in their ED models. And with people sitting 6 feet away from the plasma - one can not tell the difference between a HD plasma and a ED model. (on 50" and up this is not true). The price difference is great enough for me to consider getting one of these ED for a 42" Panny (7Y????? model) They only do 480P but the picture is suppose to be great. |
