Its noon here. Driving Excitement! 12-01-2004, 03:16 AM If your trying to take an existing PAL DVD and burn it as a NTSC DVD it is kind of a pain in the ass. You have to rip all the video off of the PAL DVD then transcode it to NTSC. I know NeroVision will transcode though. Going with a real DVD recorder deck hooked to the Sky+/PVR system. Driving Excitement! 12-01-2004, 03:30 AM If not he's going to have record as PAL. Rip the DVD on a PC then transcode and burn. He could also get a DVD player or a TV for the US that can convert PAL to NTSC. There is not a super easy way. The best bet would be to look for a recorder that can accept a PAL signal but burn to NTSC. He could probably find some thing from one of those places that sells hacked DVD players.
