for Christmas. Narrowed it down to:

1)Panasonic CT-27SL14 - $349.99
<img src="http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/images/products/6359/6359139_ra.jpg">

2)RCA 27F650T - $299.99
<img src="http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/images/products/6395/6395073_ra.jpg">

3)Sony KV27FS120 - $399.99
<img src="http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/images/products/6494/6494019_ra.jpg">

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on which of these to buy. In particular is it worth spending the extra money for the Sony.

Thanks.

it has been wonderful, great color and great picture, its an older Tau Flat I got in 2001 (or 2). RCA doesn't have that great of a track record with TVs, but then again the only ones I have experience with are the cheapest on the market (at the school district I used to work at, we'd burn through them faily quickly.. but we did have hundreds, they would just loose quality quickly). I've also heard nothing but good about those Sonys.

Played well for 5 years so far - Excellent PQ, no problems whatsoever.

Sony has the most user-friendly remote and the Trinitron tube has yet to be beaten. The Panasonic gives it a good run for the money.
