My TV only has one HDMI and one DVI input, but I need more.

Not cheap, but good stuff. My friend has one of their boxes.

Just DVI though.<ul><li><a href="http://www.zektor.com/home_theater.htm">Zektor</a></li></ul>

In fact the better DVD players have better D/A convertors than most TVs. Not mention if you go through a switcher you automatically lose at least 2db of signal rendering any apparent performance gains shot to pieces.

Many people are under the impression that HDMI out from a DVD player means the end result will be better higher rez than with analog out. But if 480i/p is all that can taken from the disc then 480i/p is all that can be displayed. It's all a bunch of BS about there being any picture quality gains. I've experimented with it at work using the Denon DVD5900 and the new Denon DVD2910 and the cheaper Toshiba SD5940 (all have either DVI and/or HDMI out) hooked-up to a JVC 61" D-ILA, Sony WF Grand Wega 55" and a Mitsubishi WD62725 DLP. There was no improvement in picture quality between component and HDMI/DVI in any test, regardless of whether the digital out was 480p, 720p or 1080i.

Appreciate your inputs on it.

My HDTIVO and Samsung DVD/Receiver only have HDMI outputs. I have the HDTIVO using the HDMI input on the TV and the DVD/Receiver using the DVI input. I need another DVI input for a HTPC, so that I can do 1280x720 screen resolution. Any suggestions would be helpful.

It will do 800x600, but that is not good enough.
