All of a sudden I get a searching for sat message. System test shows every other transponder at 0. Replacement on the way thanks to ebay...found a dish with dual lnb for $.99!

I've got an older Sony model, but when I'm ready for HD, I'll change out the dish alltogether

But you are right - just buy the new triple lnb when you get HDTV. I had/have a Sony dish - that still is up but not in use.
