And he LOVES them. I went to his place yesterday, helped him with his setup a bit, put on the new Medeski Martin & Wood album, and they just plain rock for speakers in their price range. I used to have 7seMKIII (their previous iteration) and I must say that the newer ones look much better, and maybe even sound better, although I had them running through a stereo Sony back then, and he has a nice Onkyo. I'm very impressed. (I'll still hold on to my Studio 60s though)

I ask simply because the vast majority of home I visit (I install and sell the stuff for a living) have the speakers up against the wall facing straight out, which only allows them to reveal a fraction of the information they are capable of filling your sweet spot with.

I pulled them out and turned them in slightly. They had already seen a couple of weeks of use, so we were able to crank em up just enough to get the hairs standing!
My 7seMkII's which have 12 years of audio mileage on them still make me smile.
