I'm looking for one to hook up to my PC in the other room. I am wanting it to have video out on it so it can display the CD covers or visualizations on the Pioneer Elite. I've seen some with component video out, so I know they're out there. And don't recomend any of those expensive ass Yamaha or Escient servers.

as downloaded (or any movies that are on your computer). I am very happy with it. A lot of reviews of it aren't that great but I have yet to have any issues. Also, they keep updating the firmware so it just keeps getting better :)

I use a pc capture card to record all my TV shows (instead of a TIVO or any other expensive PVR)and this allows me to sit in the living room and watch everything. Also, I have it shuffle through all my music play to in the background when I'm in the mood to listen to some tunes. You can also have it just play a certain genre of music, just by artist or a dozen other choices. It can also play AOL internet radio which is cool because it's free right now. AOL is going to start charging for that soon though.

do not carry him on Saturday afternoon. It also would be cool to watch some downloads vids from Audiworld on the tv.
I have HD Directv - and SD Directv TiVo - so I doubt I would be using it for that function.
How do you send a stream to it from your pc? Not sure how that works.

that eventually though. If you have a wireless router it streams over that connection (it's the best way) or you can use an ethernet cable.

So you are on your pc - how do you send the video, or pics, or what ever to the D-link
Right now we have a wireless linksys - but we have no network set up between our pcs. Just internet access at each pc.
Sorry to be so stupid about this

folders you want it to have access to. It monitors those folders and streams your media from them.

The wireless connectivity is built into the receiver and setup is a breeze.

We are already looking now at the HP all in one printer scanner etc to use in our wirelss system. That will clear up a lot of cutter.
