My showstopper DVR (replaytv) bit the dust after almost 5 years. I'm hurtin' without PVR capability. Where next? (normal def TV...won;t be going Hi-def for at least a year)

Another Replay? Tivo? or Comcast DVR?

Comcast guide menus are fugly, but I hate the idea of paying $10 or more a month for tv listings from Tivo or replay. (I had 'lifetime' listings with old replay pvr)

If the Replay community is anything like the tivo community you can get an image for a new hard drive and be back where you started.

Otherwise, I'd go for tivo. maybe a used tivo on ebay w/ lifetime?

from the way it acts...researched some replaytc threads and others with the same problem have not had success replacing the HD
