With Voom you're going to be locked into their service, as you need to buy the equipment and you cannot sell it afterwards cause they wil not activate if you bought them from someone else. Plus, DTV is adding HD channels these days.

something. We cancelled with in the 30 day trial and they still changed us for the service. We have been trying to get our refund for almost three months now. Just got another bill from them today even though we have not had service since the first week of june. I would suggest not using VOOM.

I have Directv - I think because it is the biggest - it has the most chance of surviving
Dish is also one to look at - the only thing it is really lacking is the NFL package.

Down side to Directv - they seem to be cutting their link with TiVo - which is not good for those of us who have been investors in that equipment. If this really happens - we might see a lot of people switch in the comming years
