Nakamichi CR-5 cassette deck here. $1700 new. Only the Dragon and the CR-7 (better than the Dragon) could better it. The ZXL1000 came close.

because the mfing tubes or power supply went out.

I have some great tapes that I still enjoy listening to. - Guess I need to xfer them to digital as some are from the days of KSAN (Bay Area Rock radio with some live stuff- went to country in ~ early 80s)

NAD seperates, Arcam Alpha CD, Energy Conniseur speakers, Van Den hull spkr cable, maestro interconnects with vampire ends etc......

the XM radio feed or MP3's playing through my Monsoon ribbons or I'm in the HT hanging out - the audiophile system is in the living room which is only used when we have guests..
