im in an apt and need to get a HT setup here

i dont need anything that will blow out the windows, just a nice all in one unit, with progressive DVD, DTS etc. 5.1 is fine.

thing is id like it to be able to switch video as well so it would need svideo and composite inputs.

then video out would need to come out on both the svideo and compsite sides ( or if it upconverted all to component that would be cool too ) so i can run composite/svideo to a tv for daytime, and then svideo/component to my projector

any ideas?

or some other solution?

no all in one is really great. Onkyo is pretty good, but you should all in one your speakers, then your equipment. With the speakers, I would start with Aperion audio, equipment I'd do Onkyo or Yamaha.

jere

JVC RX-ES1

sound seems to be good from my limited tests so far

the speakers themselves are aestheticially perfect for the room, as they seem to just blend in to the surroundings since they are so thin

happy so far
