I just bought a 2006 W12. I've read the positive posts about the latest version that updates MMI to the same rev as the 2007's , but don't see the actual version # in the Audi TSB. Since I have the "lawyer" screen, I expect I have the 2006 version still. Thanks.

The other lines are the same except the last three digits of the other SW line on mine are 536.

I took a picture with my phone before I sent it in, and the numbers for my '06 (delivered Dec '05) are identical to yours.

I will have to check the new info, but I imagine it is the same as CanAm Eight's (or should that be CanAm's Eight? )

Think about it...taking pictures with our mobile phones of the upgrades to our automobile's software, and then posting them via the internet for all interested parties to view and discuss.

....and I can still remember the first hand held calculator (first applicaiton for mass produced chip technology).

I picked mine up today and the version screen is identical to the "NEW" one you pictured, and virtually the same on the old one as well.

The service history of the car says the MMI was updated once before. The dealer service team (Rector in Burlingame CA) didn't seem to know about the TSB specifically but was happy to help. I noted a problem with the unit holding the Surround mode overnight, one of the two basic issues the TSB discusses.
