Needed more room anyway, and the new TT is fugly, IMHO. Was either going to get an S6 or A8 SWB, but when I went to the dealer, my soul mate was on the floor, unclaimed. A little negotiating, and the rest is history.

Surprisingly, drove it very hard on a familiar mountainous route ouside of Denver today, and was struck by how sticky it was (given the new tires), quite comparable to the much smaller TT (with 3.2 and DSG), but with much, much smoother ride. If only this baby had DSG. I know there's been some negative comments here about the Yokohama's but once they warm up, they are quite sticky and smooth.

beautiful car. A tad more room than the TT, eh?

LOL-- One carry-on bag in the "trunk". NOT enough room for a carry-on and a briefcase.

The plus side was that I got out of doing a lot of airport pickups.

You're going to be making a lot more trips to DIA =)

Beautiful car! Looks like spring has sprung in Colorado... makes me homesick *sniff*

Welcome!

Also in (CO.- Northern). Had mine ordered without the front plate. Figure I would pay the tickets. I understand Denver enforces more strictly.
