that whenever someone has a legitimate question about their car there is no shortage of "smartass" answers. maybe I am just not in tune with the sense of humor in here. Its like you are all...let me see how can I put this...OLD...with your wood trim and heated steering wheels :D
I mean...is it to make up for the fact that nobody has an answer? if so then why say anything at all? just to hear yourself type?

end rant.

Here is the S8 front. Only the dedicated Audi fans can tell the difference; S8 is for those who don't want to show off, but just to feel the goodness of the car. Oh, the S8 badge & verticle gril bars are the things that A8 doesn't have.

This site is devoid of good information, most of the time. I'm working on several projects that I plan to take pictures of and document for the few people who actually care.

The answer to most every post by several members is "buy a lexus." If you want a Lexus so bad, go be a pain in the ass on their board.

The Bulbs are orange, try changing to the Osram bulbs that are silver coated, but the shine orange. I dont know if they have them in the type that is used on the A8/S8.

some want everyone to buy a lexus so their car is the only one they see in their area making it rare. The other well, most of the posts are about whining about this broke and that failed which usually occurs less in a lexus. The third is just being a smart ass.

I have added useful information and sometimes what I consider humor. You dont have to get the meaning of every post but if you must, go sit in a library. Weve had PLENTY of useful information here and if you are missing it, look again. Humor, or an attempt at it, has been medicinal for years in all sorts of arenas. Maybe you and Scott need a time out to sit in the corner and laugh!!!

I wasnt attacking you or this forum...my post was obviously meant in some sort of humor, hence the "old" comment and the picture of Herbert from family guy...but maybe you havnt seen that show...cause you're old.

Some have painted the markers bodycolor as I have or have obtained the Euro Bumper strip which is painted bodycolor and fills in the reflector with one continuous strip. (this is a Euro only part) There is some info on this forum about the "euro bumper strip" if you STFA the terms in quotes. Good luck.

You're the chief offender, IMO. People post things and you ridicule them, or post some inside sarcastic joke, which just defiles the board.

I may only have 35 posts here, but I have over a thousand on my favorite Porsche board. I came here to learn and ask questions. You, who obviously has lots of good information to share, would rather heckle folks who are new to the car.

I actually bought an extra pair of bumper lights from the dealer and had them painted, so when inspection time comes around, just pop in the originals!
