Hi All. Just picked up a well spec'd 2003 4.2 Quattro V8. I have a couple of minor issues, and would welcome input. Audi want to charge me ?300 to upgrade the MMi to allow TMC to work. I think I can get a Nav DVD off ebay - is there a way I can do this myself? I could on the BMW...

Secondly the battery is always showing 50 or 60%. I know the car stood for some time and went flat. Audi are saying I need a new battery or charge ECU at ?200. I have also read of a bug in the MMI software - might this fix it?

Any comments/similar experience appreciated.

Our MMI here in the US does not support TMC yet. TMC data feeds are not ubiquitous here - only available for the largest cities... Which is probably why Audi has not worked out a deal with one of the TMC service suppliers or made the necessary upgrades available.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tmcforum.com/">TMC Forum</a></li></ul>
