Now, who was asking about who will service the B&O system? $104k and only one of the two speaker pods rises from the dash! Come on Audi, really! Dealer never mentioned it at collection - it was working then of course, service department knows about it, "has parts on order", but the system does not show a fault. So my question is, how do you order a part when you don't know what is wrong?
It's a shame really because the car is drop dead gorgeous and is a blast to drive. It is so responsive you cannot believe this is such a big car.
More Audi fun!

Your license plate has big white box instead of letters and numbers... :)
Gorgerous car and pics. Enjoy!

I can't wait to drive one... my dealer says they are getting one later this year. Let me know what you think of the braking performance... I am wondering why the Audi ceramic brakes are not an option yet.

on the non-ceramics, I'm prefectly happy with it as a road car; certainly seems to stop as quickly as the S8s I drove at Silverstone with ceramics did.

I suppose some spirited track use might require the ceramics because it is still a heavy car, and fade would become a problem with heavy brake use. The trick will have to be to drive smoothly enough to not need the brakes so much!

congrats. I should be getting mine next week. Curious to see what the "phantom black pearl effect" will look like.

My phantom black pearl S8 arrived on my birthday (Monday) and it's sweet ! I haven't taken delivery yet as I'm having window tinting done. Phantom is nice, not as dark as brilliant black (my current A8L) but it's rich.
