I have yet to find or create a CD where the CD text option works. All I ever see is "Track 1", etc. The Display CD Text option has always been on. Same for the CD Label.

Am I missing something here?

I have the same option on my 05 A6 and the CD TEXT works fine.

I only own one purchased CD that has the CD TEXT feature on there as a standard. To create a CD with CD TEXT, your burning software needs to support that option and you need to switch it on before burning the CD. I use NERO and that works fine.

I have an 04 A8 and the text works fine on cds that i burn, yet if you put in one of your old school cds there will be zero text.

Try the "D'Lovely" movie soundtrack album--album name and tracks all show up on the screen.

...Track-at-once in Nero. Duh! Helps to RTFM!

Thanks for the direction!

For iTunes users, the latest version 7.0.1 supports CD Text as well. Look for the option under Preferences ->Advanced -> Burning
