View Full Version : Saw the new Mercedes S-Class on a dealer lot this morning. Those that have seen it in the flesh seem to be split down the middle of love/hate. I can't remember this lukewarm reception on an MB. Either way it makes me feel better about my decision. I almost held out for the S. The photos sure are a turn off. Randy Welch 01-09-2006, 09:07 AM Kimchee 01-09-2006, 09:19 AM oh i dunno.. mebbe an Rs4.. *shhhh* Plano-4.2 01-09-2006, 09:33 AM Kimchee 01-09-2006, 09:35 AM =P JeeRS 01-09-2006, 09:39 AM i came up on them rather quickly. my left brain, while looking at the tail lights, told me it was the new S. but my right brain won b/c i really couldn't discern it all that much from the old S class. maybe it's just that i don't get many opportunities to allow myself to be behind an S class :) it wasn't until i decided to pass them did i see the fender arches and then the front. the cars aren't that bad looking while they are moving. but the redesign could look alot more disastrous if sitting inside a showroom. i will say that the fender arches are really an after thought. |
