Not the exact ones I was hoping for, but I think these are fitting with the style of the A8. 22x9.5, 2" lip front/3" lip rear wrapped with 285/25-22 rubber on all 4's.

Mr.Ricco's 2004 VW Phaeton riding on your 20's is a great looking, if slightly bling, ride!

thats what i like to see, another set of 22's on the board. is the wheel 2 or 3 piece? mine are still on, but the car is sitting inside, staying away from all of the snow and salt. those tires will not work, you will need the nitto's 255/30/22. they run about $3-- or alittle more, i have a guy that gets the pretty cheap, e-mail me or let me know what prices you got.....

won't fit in the Phaeton spare tire well. Don't know about the A8...

Measurement wise it should fit with 10mm to spare in front.

we did a test fit with my car. and the 265's rubbed and 285 fit in the rear but not in front. the 255's fit best all around.....

Measuring with my OEM setup (275-35/20 on 20x9 et46) and dropping the suspension all the way to the bump stops, there is 28mm of clearance between the fender and the tire sidewall. Going with a 32mm offset on 9.5in wide will push the wheel out outwards 20mm and add 8mm of clearance on the inside (the tightest area).

iam running 255/30/22 all the way around, with hub-centic spaces and the rims are 22x10

Thats amazing. I just went to the So Cal Autofashion show last weekend (thanks to ROCKCENTER for the free ticket!) and of all the wheels at that show, that's the same one I landed on as a candidate for my silver A8L

One side of the show car (not an Audi) had the blacked out centers, the other side had the brushed silver centers. No question, brushed looked better.

I think this is one of the best looking wheels I've seen, especiallty for a silver car. I'm thinking about getting a set for my '05. Please post some pics (mounted on the car) and what tire you ended up with if you do it. One caveat, the rims are stamped "1200 lb max load" not sure if this is enough load capacity for a A8L with 4 or 5 passengers, although the saleman said no problem (!). Also, I'd be interested in the weight of the rim as compared to stock.

I had Brabus Monoblock IV's on my A6 2.7, and they were TOO heavy, and I could never get them balanced correctly. Looked great though. I'd be concerned that any extra weight will effect the air suspension settings/performance, as I'm sure some significant engineering went into these parameters, and it can't be good if we throw a bunch of extra (unsprung)weight on the wheels.

All that said though, that is the look!
