Got in my A8 this morning and ganted it's cols out there so I'm not sure if this was a factor BUT turned on the radio and wham huge volume of static. If I turn down the volume I can turn it off but in one click it pegs out with loud static. Did the same on radio as well as Sirius sat. The icon on the screen shows a speaker with a line thru it. Any ideas other than bring it in ?

got in the car after work and after starting, the damn thing worked. Must have been a MMI glitch.

I had the same thing happen to me once. I took it in right away and of course it would not do it again. That was seven months ago. Damn gremlins!

Morning. The car had stood out overnight and the temperature had dropped to -3.
I drove the car for 2 hours, numerous roboots of the system would not bring audio back.
2 hours later after the car had sat in sunshine, though still cold, the syatem started normally.
I think it is the impact of very cold weather. The dealer claims to never have heard of this before. Living in Chicago, I doubt this somehow.
