It's not that the Valentine is unreliable, it's the best available! With "instant on" radar, laser, and V.A.S.C.A.R., I just got too many tickets. They took my license away... I got it back with legal assistance... now I just go 10 to 15mph over the limit and avoid the stress.
I have to drive cars that are fun at those speeds, or I fall asleep. The Taconic Parkway was my downfall!

through numerous auto forums.. you guys and gal have by far a forum that is #1. I am even thinking about renting an A8 over the weekend so I can post the hell out of this forum.

V1 is the one to have if you have to have one.

It's not perfect so don't push your luck.

RC,

Quick story.

A8 driver going through Kentucky at 90+ MPH. Gets pullled over by trooper shooting radar. When the trooper walks up to the car he says, "I've been waiting all morning for you."

Driver looks at trooper and says, "Hell, I got here as fast as I could!"

they are ADDICTIVE and expensive and get even more addictive the more money you put into it. It's like building your own world.

we all need one such incompleted goal in life.

the itch always started at 6 months and developed to a point where therapy was needed at 10 months.. .I am still in love with my orphaned P Car. . . after a year I still look forward to driving it...not sure if it's the car or the fact I have grown up. :)

Just a 205 dollar fine for 101mph? In VA we would get minimum 10 days in jail plus a load of other crap. I hate the driving laws in this state.

V1 Have one in the A8, and one in the GT3. Saves my hide frequently. You have to bite the bullet ($199)and get it updated every couple of years, though.
