We're about to order an A8L for my wife. Managed to divert her away from an M-B S-Class. Our option list is as follows: Night Blue Pearl with Black Amaretto, Premium Package, Front seat ventilation and massage, Sport package with all-season tires, Alcantara package. Anything that is a "must-have" that's not on our list? Dual Paned? We're in a mild climate, but thoughts? We have passed on dual rear climate cntrl cuz rear seat passengers won't occur that often. And I am presuming the car is prewired for Satellite, and we can make that decision later. Any thoughts/advice appreciated. TIA.

road noise. If you're into skiing, or going to transport anything long that would extend past the trunk, I'd consider the ski storage sack.

Having just gotten the a8 I further think is smart to get the satelite feature when you order.I personally like siris(sp)..The dual pane window is nice, along with the sport package Tony

From what I've picked up on the forum here, the car is prewired for satellite radio. I'm embarrassed to say the only thing holding up the order is deciding between Sirius and XM. If the car is prewired, is there any reason to factory order the SR option? If we install later, it lets us get on with the order while she sorts out which SR provider she wants. And please, stop laughing.

Convinced us to go with the dual-paned glass, and even went for the rear climate controls. Thanks again for the thoughts, and now we have a long 3-4 month wait. Wish us luck.
