Was on my way back from a golf tournament (scramble, we finished -11) and my temp guage was going through the roof. It almost maxed out to the red "H" and at one point I actually had the mini-MMI give me a warning the the temp was too high. I pulled over and let it cool down and finally made it home. Needless to say I'm going to the Dealer fist thing in the AM.

Plenty of coolant, and plenty of Oil. I just got it serviced for its 35K about 1,500 miles ago. Will fill you in on the diagnosis. My guess is a faulty fan or faulty thermostat.
