Bet the fender wells are still clean.
Great shots of the "port" too.
Is that your "boat"? We've sailed on the RC Voyager of the Sea. What a great time that was!
#1 photo should be submitted to AOA or AW should pick it up for something.

The exhaust is going on next Wednesday and for sure it will be perfectly centered next time, although its hard to judge something 150ft above you hehe.

I like the cruise ship shot especially.
Could they not build that concrete block in the center of the freeway ramps, though? That's a great shot, but I'd like to see the car perfectly centered between the ramps, and then photoshop that concrete 'block' so that it too is 'centered'.
Where is that, BTW?
Also curious what you're doing in pShop, pushing the high/low values out a bit (to blow out the extraneaous highlights/shadows), and/or pushing the saturation a touch? Just curious. Very nice, in any event...

I was thinking about it a bit and realize now why it looks un centered. You probably remember that the bridge curves torwards the south at the west end of the span.
As for the photoshop, I lightened the midtones, darkened the shadows and increased the highlights. Then added 50% sharpening and did a soft omni lighting slightly over exposed with positive ambience.

Have to get the city to do something about that!
Great location, even moreso for the new 'single frame' front end. (gaps widen top down and bottom up on the bridge and grille). Could probably play with the angles and camera/car/bridge relative distances to create some interesting shots. Excellent photos, and nice PS technique - always fun to see your shots, keep on with it - what gear are you using these days?

The rest of the mods (exhaust, spoiler and tints) are scheduled now for next Wednesday. It was crowded there and at the beach on Monday so I couldn't play with the angles too much, but I at least was able to scout out some locations in SoBe, Brickell and Key Biscayne. I bought a D70. Been fairly happy with it so far, but still have a lot to learn with the settings to really make pics pop.

Finally into the DSLRs - now the real fun, and expense, begins.
Best thing you can buy is top of the line glass. 17-55mm 2.8 is a great lens, but I reaaaally love my 28mm 1.4 - I highly recommend that lens.
The rest is practice!
