I just got 06 A8 and found out that the RAZR works GREAT with the blue tooth, Audi doesn't mention the phone on the web as one that works.

It does work great! The Bluetooth is picked up immediately on your car speakers when the phone rings and when you get in to the car during a conversation it is recogized within seconds. Don't look for a cradle for it; Audi is years behind!

I was about to post a thread next week since my car is almost here. Can I use either one (black or silver)? I remember some old treads that the RAZR does not synch. Anyway, I don't own a bluetooth phone yet so I'm in the market. So my the questions are will any new RAZR work and where can I find a post of "approved " phones? Is it on the Audi web site? By the way I'm open to suggestions other than the RAZR.

The latest generations incl the black work just fine.

It seemed to be a software interface issue with early razr's. Also, 1st time you link, let it take its time, or else the link is incomplete. You still only get SIM card directory, but that is OK. Early SW versions did not end calls, but ours does fine. 3 phones linked in our W12.
