Does anyone have information on why there is not wood/leather steering wheel offered with the amaretto interior? It is the only color that uses the sycamore wood, and the only interior color that does not offer a wood wheel option???!!!

Also, any idea when the "Y" style 18" wheels will be available (see page 41, picture B in the current A8 catalog)????

FWIW, I have asked these questions of Audi USA on their website and am awating a reply...

I wonder if that wheel (a real beauty) is availablle for the cousin (Audi)of Bentley (do the words "ya gotta be kiddin'" mean anything to you?)

I really wonder if I could find a dealer who would be willing to mount it....and if the electrics would still work....

I believe the Bentley and Phaeton electronics are a lot more similar than the Audi A8. Might ask on the VAG-COM Forum. Good luck.

I'm interested in an amaretto interior and tiptronic paddles. Are you saying I can't get this combination or are you referring to the full wood steering wheel?

I just showed the pics to my boss who owns a Phaeton as his "bad weather" car. He says the likes the Bentley! (I told him he shouldn't have gotten the CLS AMG and the Phaeton...just the Bentley!)
