It's kind of bittersweet here these days. derf/nyc is ordering his A8, mabod has just picked his up, and EK62 has to put his up for sale. Gets me to thinking how fleeting it all is.

...all very fickle. I like to think that life's setbacks are temporary, and we find a way to rebound and get stronger.

The Porsche enthusiasts community lost an active and cherished member last week due to an on track accident in Fontana, CA.

While I did not know him personally, we'd exchanged messages on the Rennlist Porsche forum and he was one of the fortunate few to own a Carrera GT, the car that he would eventually lose his life in. But he was also genuinely down to earth and always ready to help with his knowledge of the Stuttgart marque.

I won't get into the details of the story, it's easy to find all over the web. But needless to say, it shocked every one of us to the core and especially because he's the proud father of an infant girl.

Don't take it for granted but do enjoy life each and every day...as a song said once: "dance like no one is watching..."
