I have seen the photos on fourtitude.com of the sport package 2006 A8. I'm still trying to decide between an 05 or ordering an 06. Does anyone have any photos of the 06 body style in different colors or know of any links to web sited with photos?

You either get a license plate holder or the filler with the small chrome bars. I was going to try and take a photo of a B7 w/o either installed to sho whats behind there but didn't get a chance to get that done today. I'll try tomorrow.

Regular A8 grille will not have chrome inserts. See <a href="http://www.tyresmoke.net/gallery/albus92/Dsc03453">here</a>, on the left is the standard grille, on the right is the W12 grille (my W12 had the wrong grille on when I collected it, but Audi kindly replaced it in Neckarsulm the following day).

the Northern Blue look "purple" in the sun? What's that like?

The Northern Blue is a color that appears different in almost every light. Sometimes Dark Blue, sometimes Grey, sometimes Light Blue. I really like it. I have the matching Blue leather interior and its really striking. I have gotten lots of compliments. Good luck with your purchase.

If there is "grill" under there ( which I doubt )then you would think the dealer would leave both off as they sit in the lot.

choices, my new a8l in Northern blue is on the boat somewhere between Germany and the US. I take delivery around the end of May, can't wait! What port would it arrive at? I'm in Ohio, don't know if that makes a difference.

Is it dark blue leather almost black. Had a friend who had a porsche 911 with blue leather that you'd swear was black in all but the brightest light. Has the leather color worked out to your liking?
by the way, great photo gallery. They are the best photos of the new body style i've seen. This is going to be very expensive!

and did you see the combination first? do you know of a dealer who has a northern blue? i'm also in Ohio. Scared of getting the 19 inch rims due to all the potholes.

It doesn't look like black. It actually is a blue. I love it, the black interior always seemed so dour. The blue is really nice with the silver accents. I've got the twenty inch wheels. That is what is in most of the photos.

I got the creme leather. I have heard horror stories about how light it is but it's just the wife and I and I'm very particular about my cars, inside and out. I have light grey interior on my benz now and it looks as good as it did 3 years ago. I'm in the Cleveland area and I saw the Northern blue at Fred Baker, but the dealer where I got the car said he sold a Dr. in my area the same car and it was rich looking. I have seen it on the road but not up close. The end of May I will be posting pictures. Can't wait!

thanks for the information. the car should look fantastic with the lighter interior. I've got little kids so the darker the better. I'm also in northeast ohio and will call fred baker to see if they still have a northern blue available on the lot. not knowing the schedules of the first 06 deliveries, i assume your car is an 05? Thanks.
