Anyone have any links, pics, or resources for custom A8Ls? Im buying one in January and Id like to see some things people have done to their D3s. Anything from the extreme (aside from chroming it or painting it pink or a giant red stripe), to body kits, custom wheels, interior work, performance mods, etc.

but it's their money. I can see certain mods to enhance/improve features ie DVD player in headrest a year before it's available, etc or ability to lower suspension through a software mod...oh well, it makes the world go around. I guess I'm getting older.

It does seem a bit odd, given that the main reason for buying an Audi A8 over a BMW or Mercedes is that they are a little more "subtle"

Not looking to bling it out. Im looking to make some cosmetic changes for a sportier look (that is actually LAST on my list because Im unsure if I want to do it). My biggest goal is to modify it with things I will actually USE. Some audio stuff (Im an audiophile), perhaps some video stuff, some nice wheels (dont need chrome). I actually saw some Mille Miglia wheels on an A8L that looked great.

I just wanted to get an idea of some of the things people have done, custom interior work being the biggest thing.

That blue A8 is gorgeous though.

ANd the reason I opted for the A8L is that I think it is just superior in every possible way (save for performance maybe, but I am hoping on a W12, so I think that will be a non-issue) than the MB or BMW. Im coming out of a BMW into the A8L in January hopefully.

on the INSIDE of the wheel. The chrome has a tendancy to peel and youll never get a perfect seal between the tire and the wheel.
