Randy Welch 11-20-2004, 09:05 AM Thanks for your support folks! I told gina that she had people all over the world praying for her. They ended up taking her into emergency surgery this morning about 8am pst. Thanks again. PaulW 11-20-2004, 09:13 AM Plano-4.2 11-20-2004, 09:22 AM rexwilson 11-20-2004, 09:37 AM Hi, folks. I'm relatively new to the board, but admire the sense of community that is here, and look forward to becoming more a part of it. For the sake of us newbies, could somebody post an introduction to Gina and her connection to this group? thanks Ming Blues 11-20-2004, 09:50 AM God Bless. Oh, Ming Blues = Paldi but on a different computer. Randy Welch 11-20-2004, 09:56 AM No still in surgery EuroA8 11-20-2004, 09:59 AM Randy Welch 11-20-2004, 10:05 AM She's my wife of 21 years. Her brother introduced me to european cars while we were dating. I sent her here to audiworld when she had mentioned that she was interested in the new a8 so I told her post her questions about the car here on the forums. (We had owned 5 audi's prior to her a8, most of them my daily drivers ) She quickly showed that she could hang with the crowd on the a8 and a6 forums. She's the most wonderful person you'll ever meet, and the love of my life. Ringmeister 11-20-2004, 10:53 AM im_cecil 11-20-2004, 10:58 AM I briefly met you when Kimchee was out here, and was sorry that Gina wasn't able to join us as she was on her roadtrip. But I enjoyed reading her updates... Speedy recovery for her! Mr. Ricco 11-20-2004, 12:00 PM posts, it will become obvious to you that she is indeed a very special lady. I would guess from her postings she is very intelligent, a fine communicator, compassionate, and one hell of a mother. It is also obvious that she and Randy and their two children and dog have a very close knit and loving family. We up here in the PNW wish the entire Welch Family are best wishes. Stirs-A8L 11-20-2004, 12:11 PM My wife and I wish our best to you for a quick recovery. Will be spending lots of time at the ICU here for the next week.... She came through after 2 emergency surgeries. 2 months, we slept on floors, chairs, you name it. Hang in Randy and family! Gina will pull through! Plus, with all of us pulling for her, she has an extra added advantage. |
