Many are "fudged" orders. IE: They show as sold but really aren't.

The whole purpose of this is not to have them sitting on showroom floor. That is why only 150 will be produced for the U.S.

That is real nice!
We ordered a sold order for a client with deposit, a client that owns a 2004 A8L and has onwed 2 prior to that and we found out that his car that was ordered in August will not show here until May of next year.
If the reason is because dealers order "bogus" sold orders, man there are going to be some pissed off people.

There are 7 coming into 4 of the 12 dealers in FL. I guarantee they won't sit in inventory.

One thing that pisses me off though is that we are the largest A8 dealer in the Texas/ OK/ AR/ LA area and our first A8L won't be here until May.
What is up with that??
Smaller dealers will get theirs before us.
Does not make any sense...
Dallas is a big market for the A8 that is why they have the A8 tour stopping by here.

Just FYI no small dealers in FL are getting any. This state is the largest market for Audi and A8's especially.

... a guy whose family has bought a nine Audis in the past ten years, owns a Lambo and a Bentley (and whose family used to own another Bentley and whose company uses a VW-built Bentley) is STILL having trouble getting a car.

That should make him feel better/worse.
