Installed the complete front end protection system (3 kits) over the past few days. The kits comprise:
1) a hood, door mirror and fender kit
2) a front bumper kit in 2 main pieces
3) a headlight, marker light and fog light kit
Total installation time is about 6 hours working on my own. An assistant would cut the time down considerably. In addition, a hair drier is very helpful - they don't mention this except in connection with the lamp kits but it really helps to get the material to conform to some of the difficult curves around the hood and bumper.
The end result is outstanding. You cannot tell that the system is installed without looking very closely and the material has already saved the bumper from a nasty stone impact.
The light kits stay a little cloudy but this reduces over time and I expect the cloudness will go in a couple of weeks.
For $600 you get a well made kit that can be applied without expertise. Givenb that a repaint of the front bumper on my previous A6 cost $700 I am thinking this is a good deal!
