I had scheduled an appointment with Downtown Fine Cars in Toronto for Friday morning to have the minor problem of my auxiliary cooling system looked at. Unfortunately, a problem popped up, and I had another appointment 150 miles west of Toronto at the same time.

I called DFC, and the Audi Brand Specialist and Division Manager; Tommy had me e-mail a list of whatever problems I may have with the car. He arranged to meet with me at a gas station 20 miles north of Toronto on Thursday night. He was to give me a loaner, so I can go on straight to London. Unfortunately, I did not finish my clinic early, and could not get to the exchange point until 1. 30 am. Yet there was Tommy, with a brand new, pearl-white A6 S-line.

Not only did he fill up the tank, he asked me not to worry about mileage. He even spent another 15 minutes telling me about Audi-related issues (scoop: the first 2005 A6s are already in at the Halifax carport!)

Greenie said it eloquently a while back. We do not expect miracles from dealers. We just expect understanding, honesty and effort.

If there are dealers reading this forum, please take heed. For brand loyalty, this is a gesture I will not soon forget!

Toronto to London, Ontario, then beam the A8 to London, England. I wonder how many other Londons there are?

Al-Qarni speaks very eloquently on important automotive subjects such as women drivers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mr Dib is sure the learned Sheikh can pronounce a simple fatwa regarding your own eloquence quotient. Good luck! LOL

has spoken from his cheesedom. He claims that if you eat his products, the FATwa will come!

Dib is sorry greenie. Of course no fatwa shall apply... You would tell the double speaking Sheikh to kiss your FATwa... LOL
