Do the cigarette lighter outlets ever quit getting power when the car is off? I rigged my iPod to work in the car last night (plugged into the outlet behind the center armrests), but noticed that it was still getting power this morning.

Second question, if it never powers completely down, that trickle charging wouldn't hurt anything, would it?

problem. . . was told the "charge" is very minimal.

I just like having my iPod in the car and I don't want to have to tear it all apart every time.
