I'm looking to switch to 19s and wondered if anyone is using these A/S tires. I'd like year-round capability, thus the all-seasons. Impressions, anyone?

View Full Version : 19" Michelin Pilot Sport A/S - Anyone using these? XZLR8 06-04-2004, 07:16 PM I'm looking to switch to 19s and wondered if anyone is using these A/S tires. Potsie 06-04-2004, 07:30 PM Goodyear Eagle F1s and will have them put on in another 1,000mi., which is when my 15K mi. service is. I wanted to maintain the stickiness of a summer tire. My understanding is that the Goodyear's are quieter than the Pzero's that came on my A8 originally. I've read a number of reviews on Tirerack.com about the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and most people seem satisfied. -P XZLR8 06-04-2004, 07:33 PM I'm lazy, I guess, but I hate switching back and forth. I purchased a car that was already in transit and had the 18s. Had I ordered mine, I would have opted for the 19s, but it just didn't work out that way. Now, every time I see an A8L with the 19s, I have that terrible ping of jealousy. Mr. Ricco 06-04-2004, 09:32 PM also had used them on my D2. . . don't notice any difference. . . . great tires from my experience. I agree, for me the 19's make the car it's as simple as that. greenie 06-05-2004, 05:48 AM to go with dedicated snows. If you are in a snow belt, theres nothing quite like snows! I think A/S tires and Quattro will be just fine. I had the 18" A/S this past winter with no issues. Plus, I always have the SUV as a backup. greenie 06-05-2004, 07:33 AM |
