I didn't mean to cause such a commotion about the club name. I thought the name simply by meaning "leaders" would have been an excellent name for an Audi club. I didn't realize that it would cause such a fuss, and I meant no disrespect to anyone out there. It was not meant to be affiliated with World War II in any way shape or form, or its leaders. Again, I am sorry if I offended any of you, and if you still want to go and flame me for it because of whatever reason, feel free. I am a little more mature than that. I am not some racist, and I take great offense to any of you that made that insinuation.

My dad, rest his soul, got shot down over Japan - seems he had a bad experience in one of their prison camps. Dad would probably take offence if someone came out with something like the "Rising Sun Honda Club" He refused to ride in a Japanese car. Didn't keep me from briefly owning an RX4.

2 years later and flew 52 missions throughout Indo-China. Amazing stories! He wanted to fight the Nazis but they werent accepting any more pilots, believe it or not, so he figured by fighting the Japanese, he could fight their ally. Normal missions were flown at 100 feet above the ground and he took flak only once. That flak killed his co-pilot. Ive got his name as my middle! There are a few left that are flying. I occasionally do mechanical work on the one in Reading, Pa. Its MMI screen NEVER opens!
